Scholarships

Santa Ana College Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program provides financial resources to students to allow them the opportunity and flexibility to focus on achieving their academic and professional goals, by helping to offset the costs of tuition, books, technology, and other college-related expenses. We have close to three-quarters of a million dollars in scholarship funds to help our students succeed.

Santa Ana College scholarships are opportunities awarded competitively to deserving students who represent need and demonstrate great academic merit, achievement, and leadership. Scholarships are available for Santa Ana College students who are incoming, continuing, and transferring to four-year institutions.

The SAC Scholarship Program also serves as a financial resource hub for students by providing up-to-date scholarship opportunity information along with interview and professional preparedness training and workshops for scholarship applicant competitiveness and competency.

APSP empowers Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA) students to thrive, by fostering strong connections to their cultural roots and communities through immersive cultural and educational experiences.

Asian Pacific Student Program

The CJA offer a wide variety of training courses available to individuals considering a career in law enforcement or individuals currently in the law enforcement field, with over 24,000 individuals participate annually. 

Criminal Justice Academies

SAC was the first Orange County Community College chosen to participate in the Pathway to Law School Program, focusing on providing community college students with an appropriate transition into law school.ate annually. 

Legal Studies

Open to all students seeking academic, social, and emotional support, aiming to improve retention, graduation rates, personal growth, collective healing, and building community with those impacted by the U.S. immigration system. We offer referrals to financial aid assistance and free legal immigration consultation.

Undocu-Scholars Center

Since 2003, HOF celebrates, recognizes and honors the accomplishments of individuals who have made significant contributions as a student-athlete, coach or friend to the rich tradition of the Santa Ana College athletic program. 

Athletic Hall of Fame

The Thrive Center provides food and resources to alleviate challenges to students' basic needs. They advocate for fundamental basic rights to promote a just environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

MESA Program

The Math Engineering Science Achievement program at SAC is an Academic Resources Program that supports college students to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), so they can transfer to 4-year institutions as majors in these fields. 

University Transfer Center

The UT Center provides information and assistance to students preparing for transfer to baccalaureate-granting institutions. Services provided include a wide range of individualized assistance, counseling, workshops, and support to students. 

The Career Center provides Santa Ana College students with workshops, events, career exploration, employment preparation, and service-learning opportunities to prepare themselves to enter the workforce.

Fine and Performing Arts

The Santa Ana College Fine & Performing Arts Department includes courses in Art & Photography, Journalism & Media Studies, Communication Studies, Dance, Digital Media, Music, Theater Arts and Murals. 

The SAC Pride! Advisory Board advocates for an inclusive and affirming campus environment that supports and empowers the LGBTQ+ community. Their mission is to advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Veterans Resource Center

Created to help incoming Veteran students transition from soldiers to scholars, the VRC offers assistance for Veterans, Active Duty, Reservists, and their dependents with accessing their VA education benefits, and resources that help them succeed in their educational goals. 

Center for Teacher Education

The CFTE is a resource hub for students interested in a career in teaching. It offers academic advisement and support for future teachers with a focus on preparing students for employment in local public schools. 

Honors Program

The Honors Transfer Program welcomes students who want to challenge themselves and offers honors sections of transferable general education courses, combined “stacked” classes, and contracts.

U2 Scholars Program

Through a group of educators and community allies and leaders, our Umoja / Ujima Scholars Program provides essential educational resources and services to foster personal, professional, and academic success.
